Me Plus More was created with one simple belief: everyone deserves the opportunity to build confidence, strengthen everyday skills and work towards greater independence.
What started as one person’s vision has grown into Australia’s first membership platform designed specifically for people with intellectual disability, providing accessible tools, practical resources and a supportive community for individuals, families and disability providers across Australia.
Story behind M+M
For more than 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside people with intellectual disability, their families and disability providers. During that time, I saw the same challenge time and time again, there simply weren’t enough accessible, engaging and practical capacity building resources designed specifically for people with intellectual disability.
Too often, people were expected to navigate information that wasn’t created with their needs in mind, making it harder to build confidence, develop everyday skills and achieve greater independence.
That experience inspired me to create Me Plus More… a place where accessibility comes first! Every program, resource and tool has been designed to be practical, engaging and easy to understand, giving people the opportunity to build confidence and independence in a way that works for them.
Today, Me Plus More supports individuals, families and disability providers across Australia through accessible capacity building that continues to grow with the needs of our community.

Lillian
Women in the Workplace Stream
Lillian has worked for an international company for more than 20 years, but despite her experience, she’d never received workplace training in a way that truly made sense to her.
Through our Women in the Workplace program, Lillian built confidence in communication, teamwork, understanding her rights at work and setting meaningful goals.
Today, Lillian continues to grow through our Independent Living Skills program and online workshops, building her confidence at work and in everyday life.
Tahli
When Tahli decided to move out of home for the first time, she wanted to feel confident and prepared for independent living. Our Independent Living Skills membership gave her the practical tools to take that next step.
Today, Tahli continues to grow through our Housemate Harmony, Communication and Having a Voice in Your Home workshops, helping her build a positive relationship with her flatmate and confidently have a say in her home.
Lizzy
Lizzy has worked at a busy technology company in Sydney for more than 12 years. Although she had plenty of workplace experience, traditional training wasn’t always delivered in a way that worked for her.
Through our Women in the Workplace program, Lizzy strengthened her communication, teamwork and workplace confidence using our accessible resources.
Today, Lizzy continues her journey through our Digital Safety 1st program and online workshops, including Supported Decision Making and Self Advocacy, building her confidence, independence and everyday skills.
Simon
Simon joined Me Plus More to explore his employment goals and discover what the future could look like. Through our Work It workshops, he uncovered a passion for starting his own micro business and began building the skills to make it a reality.
Today, Simon continues growing through our AI, Social Media and Communication workshops, building the confidence and practical skills needed to launch and grow his own business.
