Me Plus More is an online learning platform built for people with intellectual disability. You learn practical skills through short videos and easy-read workbooks, at your own pace, with a community cheering you on. Our programs cover independent living skills, getting job ready with Work It, and Women in the Workplace, with everyday topics like online safety built into the lessons.
It is for people with intellectual disability or cognitive impairment who want to build skills and confidence. It is also for the families, support workers and service providers who help them learn.
Me Plus More was founded by Tara Shekede, its Founder and Director. Tara has more than 15 years in disability services, a bachelor’s degree in applied science and a master’s degree in international public health. She started Me Plus More after seeing how hard it was for people with intellectual disability to find online learning made for them.
Everything is designed specifically for people with intellectual disability. Lessons use easy-read language, short videos and workbooks, and you move at your own pace. You also get real support and a community, not just a library of content.
There are two plans: Silver and Gold. Silver is $45 per month and Gold is $55 per month.
Both plans give you full access to the platform, weekly lessons, videos, and downloadable workbooks and cheat sheets, plus the online community and completion certificates. Gold includes everything in Silver, and we also post you the monthly workbooks and cheat sheets so you have a printed copy.
Yes. You can try Me Plus More free for 5 days, so you can see if it is right for you before you pay anything. You can upgrade anytime before the trial ends.
No. You can start your free trial without entering any card details. We will only ask for payment if you decide to continue.
Yes. You can cancel your membership at any time from your account. There are no lock-in contracts.
Many participants use their NDIS funding to access learning like ours, depending on their goals and how their plan is managed (self-managed or plan-managed). We recommend checking with your plan manager or support coordinator to see what suits your plan.
Me Plus More is not a registered NDIS provider. Self-managed and plan-managed participants can still use their funding to access our programs where it aligns with their goals. If you are registered, we will state your registration clearly here instead.
Our programs focus on building independence in daily living and employment. You can track your progress as you go, which helps show the outcomes you are working towards in your plan.
You can choose the program that fits your goals: Independent Living Skills, Work It (getting job ready), or Women in the Workplace. Each program runs a new topic every month with weekly lessons, and everyday skills like online safety are covered within them.
Each lesson mixes a short, friendly video with an easy-read workbook so you can practise what you learn. You work through them online, in your own time.
Yes. There is no rush. You can pause, go back, and repeat any lesson as many times as you like.
Yes. Members receive completion certificates as they work through topics, and the lessons include fun, gamified features to help you stay motivated and see how far you have come.
Our online community and support team are here to help. You can ask questions in the community, reach out to our team by email, or have a support worker complete the platform alongside you.
A new topic is released each month, with weekly lessons throughout the month. You must complete each topic before moving to the next this ensures you get the full benefit of every lesson.
Me Plus More is designed specifically for people with intellectual disability. We work with disability service providers, supported employment services, SIL providers, support coordinators, schools, families and individual participants across Australia. Whether you’re supporting one participant or hundreds, we offer flexible solutions to suit your organisation.
Me Plus More offers practical capacity building across a wide range of everyday life and employment skills, including independent living, employment, relationships, digital safety, financial literacy, communication, self-advocacy, supported decision making and community participation. New topics are regularly added, ensuring your participants always have access to fresh, engaging content.
Yes. Individual memberships and facilitated workshops can often be funded through a participant’s NDIS plan when they align with their goals and available funding. We work with self-managed and plan-managed participants and are happy to discuss the most suitable funding option for your organisation or participants.
Absolutely. Organisations can purchase access for multiple participants, providing ongoing access to practical capacity building resources through one central platform. It’s a simple way to support participant development while reducing staff preparation time and maintaining consistency across your service.
Yes. Our workshops can be tailored to suit your participants, service model and organisational goals. Whether you’re looking for a single workshop, a themed workshop series or an ongoing capacity building program, we’ll work with you to create the right solution.
Yes. Me Plus More delivers workshops online Australia-wide and also offers face-to-face workshops in many locations. If you’re interested in onsite delivery, simply contact our team to discuss your location and requirements.
Participant progress is tracked through topic completion, knowledge quizzes, achievements and engagement across the platform. Providers also have access to participant reporting, making it easier to monitor progress, celebrate milestones and demonstrate meaningful capacity building outcomes.
Every organisation receives dedicated onboarding and ongoing support from the Me Plus More team. We also provide facilitator resources, regular content updates and practical guidance to help your organisation get the most from the platform and workshops.
Developing engaging, accessible capacity building resources takes significant time, expertise and ongoing maintenance. Me Plus More provides your organisation with professionally developed Easy Read resources, practical workbooks, videos, facilitator supports and participant reporting, all in one place. This allows your team to spend less time creating resources and more time supporting participants to achieve meaningful outcomes.
Me Plus More works on a phone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer. You can learn wherever you are, as long as you have internet.
No. You log in through your web browser. There is nothing to install.
Yes. You can turn on Easy Read to make the information clearer and simpler. Look for the Easy Read button at the top of the page.
